A good performance and deserved win but again we would have lost if Collins had been in goal. Dovin made two crucial saves that would have been goals with Collins. He looks a great signing.
Rudoni and Torp were excellent. Skillful and great application. Allen and BTA going off resulted in a worrying drop off in our energy but still deserved the result.
Can’t believe Collins has made it into this thread lol. You’re right about Dovin. Looks a very good gk who is still young and can see making us a few quid.
BTA was poor today but agree the subs didn’t work out today but saw us over the line. This is why we need a few new players this window. Look at the bench. 1/3rd won’t make it onto the pitch. Squad isn’t that competitive at the moment
Got to give Torp the credit he deserves as I usually hammer him.
The free kick, obviously that's his strength. Still a really difficult skill and technically he's difficult to fault. Incredible execution, great goal.
His first goal is great movement into the box. So happy to see that. My main criticism of him is not putting himself into those positions when we're in possession. He showed much more of it yesterday and it made it easier for us to get up the pitch.
Out of possession he was decent, got his foot in a bit. I don't mind the yellow he took either when they had a chance of breaking from midfield. This is the stuff you have to do in the modern game. Take the yellow and kill the attack.

Well played Torpy.
Yep, he’s unrecognisable now from the player he was. He’s doing everything you want a No 8 to do. His best game for us. Usually it’s Rudi arriving in the box to get on the end of chances but missed too many of them. Both should be capable of 8-10 goals over a season.

I've had my doubts about him in the past but he's been playing well and was excellent yesterday, as was Rudoni. Allen was good too.

I feel like I am still suffering from the trauma of Collins.
I thought BTA was quite good. His movement was outstanding and he got virtually no support from Simms. He has his limitationsbiut we lost so much when he went off
